Opportunities for Students

Students are the future of our profession, and we are excited to meet and support future Culinology® professionals.

RCA offers a wide range of benefits aimed at student members, including:

• Membership: Membership in RCA is available to students enrolled full-time in a culinary-related program. Whether you are part of an RCA-approved Culinology program, or studying culinary arts, food science, or food studies, RCA is the place for you! Membership is just $35 annually.
• Annual Conference: Students receive a discounted registration rate and can even apply for a Annual Conference registration and travel sponsorship, facilitated by our Student and Young Professionals Committee.
• Scholarships: Through RCA's charitable and educational arm, the Culinology Scholarship Foundation, financial assistance is available to qualified students pursuing higher learning opportunities in Culinology, culinary arts, and food science related programs.
• Activities: Students have multiple opportunities to engage in RCA and make professional contacts. Examples include internships, competing on a team in our annual Student Culinology Competition, and joining the RCA Student and Young Professionals Committee.
